About Me
My name is Pauline Loulier. Since my first memory, I’ve always needed to be in motion, moving from one activity to the next. I grew up in Nantes, France, close to the wild Atlantic Ocean, where I spent many days as a kid. I was lucky to grow up with two amazing parents who supported me through all of my crazy ideas and two older siblings whom I fondly looked up to.
Found of sports, I juggled my childhood between synchronized swimming, golf, and school. I was French national champion in both sports at age 12. This led me to the United States, specifically UC Berkeley, where I competed as a D1 college golf athlete.
Today, I live in Mill Valley with my dog Eo. I spend my days outside as much as I can, as being surrounded by nature makes me whole. I long for the days when I must work inside at my desk. I am a trail runner dreaming big of running 100-mile races and exploring faraway mountains. I even sometimes call the trees my best friends.
I hope to share my experiences going through training and racing Ultras, as well as things I learned along the way experiencing every day life.
